Police in Nairobi are investigating the murder of a woman, her son and boyfriend in Rikana area, Nairobi County.
The decomposing bodies of the three persons were on Tuesday, February 23 morning found at a house within the Jogoo Road government staff quarters.
Neighbours had not seen the woman, identified as Charity Cheboi, and her son leave the house since Sunday, February 21. But the man was on Monday seen sending for charcoal.
The son’s school contacted his father, who does not live with him, to enquire why he missed school on Monday. The father then went to ascertain what the issue was after failing to reach Charity on phone.
The bodies were found lying on the floor in the bedroom. The man was found hands tied in the bathroom.
Police say that the scene was found in disarray, indicating a possible struggle before they were killed.
Reportedly, the woman was working at the Registrar of Persons office in Mathare, Nairobi County.
