Chaos erupted at the Baringo County Assembly on Thursday after Jubilee and KANU MCAs clashed during the debating of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill.
In a video that is making rounds on social media, the MCAs are seen hurling insults at each.
Other MCAs are seen in a full-blown physical altercation, while shouting too.
Sources have told TV47 Digital a disagreement ensued in the assembly after Muchongoi ward MCA Kipruto Kimosop claimed that some Jubilee and KANU MCAs were plotting to shoot down the motion tabling the BBI bill.
So far, three county assemblies (Siaya, Kisumu and Homa Bay) have passed the BBI bill.
The BBI Bill needs to be endorsed by at least 24 out of the 47 county assemblies, for it to proceed to the next stage-Parliament approval.
While likening the BBI process with River Nile that traverses across countries to flow into the Mediterranean Sea, ODM leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday said that BBI is unstoppable.
