Police in Laikipia Central are investigating a murder incident where a woman was found dead in her bedroom.
The lifeless body of 43-year-old woman was found in her bedroom in Hotline village of Ngobit area.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the body was found lying in a pool of blood with a deep cut on the neck.
“A bloodstained knife was also found next to the deceased, who resided next to Hotline Pub where she has been working as a bar attendant,” says the DCI.
Detectives are working hard to unravel the motive behind the killing, while capitalising on all possible leads to the perpetrators.
