A 20-year-old man was on Friday night shot dead after he allegedly took part in a “prank” robbery for a YouTube video.
Witnesses say that Timothy Wilks and his friend had approached a group of people holding large knives.
Metro Nashville Police Department say that Wilks was shot dead by a 23-year-old man who was not aware that the whole scene was a prank.
He told police that he was acting in self-defence, and to defend other people too.
No one has been charged arrested over Wilk’s death.
In March 2020, Kenyan comedian and serial prankster Nicki Big Fish was seriously injured after a prank went wrong.
Nig Fish and his crew were forced to cut short their filming after two bodyguards they were pulling a prank on turned violent, raining blows on him.
The prankster had dissed the bodyguard’s masculine body.
