The Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) says it will rally its members to pass the BBI if the government meets its grievances.

According to Seth Panyako, the union will only call off the ongoing nurses’ strike that has paralysed Kenya’s health system when their demands have been met.

While blaming a majority of governors for lack of goodwill in solving the crisis, Panyako urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene and save the situation.

“”Wacha kutishwa na hii barua ya Kang’ata, ukiangalia maslahi yetu, sisi tutapitisha BBI asubuhi na mapema (Do not be threatened by Kang’ata’s letter, if you solve our crisis, we will pass the BBI very early in the morning.)”
