Fears of widespread PEV in the US as FBI issues warning

  • 63
In Summary
  • Trump refused to concede and was determined to get a second term – by hook or crook.
  • Democrats are planning on impeaching him- again.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in the US is warning officials in all 50 states of planned armed riots in the run up to Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20.

Numerous protests may start this week and continue until at least Inauguration Day.  “The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, D.C. on 16 January,” says a Bulletin released yesterday. “They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur.”

The Bulletin was issued in response to the attack on the Capitol building in Washington, which left five dead and scores injured. Democrats have started the process of impeaching President Donald Trump once again, for allegedly inciting the insurrection.

Trump lost the November 2020 election to Biden. He refused to accept the results, claiming massive fraud, and whipping up support from his conservative base.

Last week, major social media networks notably Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram barred him from the platforms after misusing them in fanning the violence.

“In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government,” says the new House resolution on his impeachment.

“He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”
