Machakos Senator Boniface Kabaka died on Friday morning at the Nairobi Hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
Senator Kabaka was on Friday, December 4 admitted at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after suddenly falling sick while at an apartment in Kilimani.
According to Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, the senator succumbed to the effects of a stroke arising from a blood clot. Mutua says, “the condition has been bothering him for while.”
Political leaders have mourned Senator Kabaka, describing him as an astute leader who put the country before himself.
