FKF Premier League side Mathare United has signed a one-year shirt sponsorship deal with leading gaming firm Triple5bet.
The deal worth Sh20 million will sustain Mathare United in the 2020/21 season.
The triple5bet sponsorship deal to salvage the club’s high turn over of players due to a struggling budget in the last three seasons. The deal from triple5bet will help the club change their fortunes on the pitch.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Mathare United’s founder conveyed his delight saying that the deal will assure stability in the club and smooth operation.
“This will improve terms for our players and the technical bench, the season has started and we want to compete for the title,” Bob Munro said.
Triple5bet general manager Paolo Abenavoli said that they are honored to have found a top-flight club after tough scrutiny to sponsor for the next one year.
“You know how the teams have been struggling in the top flight and it is good news to have picked a side we know does well in the league and will help with our plan when it comes to our community outreach plans,” Abenavoli said on Tuesday
“Triple5bet will come in as the official sponsor of the Slum Boys, and we can assure you that this is a good deal and we are looking forward to working with them. This partnership confirms our commitment to investing in the community through sports, arts and culture with football
being a key focus,” he added
He also added that the club is looking forward to improving the standard of the game and also nurture talent both at the grassroots and national level.

This is the first time triple5bet is having such an initiative in the country, and its efforts at supporting sports and the youth, in general, have been welcomed by many with exciting times seemingly ahead for sports lovers in the country.
