Just a month after unveiling the historic, sparkling Mombasa studio, TV47 has hit the ground running with its ‘Meet The People Tour Mt Kenya chapter’.
The one-week tour began on Monday, November 23 with the caravan making the first stop-over in Kenol, Murang’ County. The team had a chance to meet and interact with avid TV47 supporters- both traders, boda boda operators, and residents.

The caravan has so far toured Mwea, Embu, Chuka, Nanyuki, Nyeri, Karatina, Mukurwe-ini, Nyahururu and Nyandarua.

The overriding sentiment from our fans was the fact that TV47 has endeared itself to ‘mashinani’ guys with unique untold stories almost at their doorstep.
Indeed it is a joy because these sentiments subscribe to our slogan, ‘The Home of Untold Stories’.

The roadshow was done in conjunction with Aliesta Foods Limited- which is known for producing Aliesta Food Maize meal for delicious Ugali.

Aliesta Foods Limited is located in Sagana, Kirinyaga County along Nairobi-Karatina Highway.
Cape Media (the company that owns TV47) Head of Marketing and Commercial Josiah Musee said that the tour is an opportunity for the company to seek first-hand feedback from viewers, interact with them, in a bid to critically investigate areas that need improvement in our programming.
Mr. Musee said that the roadshow will help push for TV47 brand visibilty in Mt Kenya region, so as to further improve ratings on terrestrial.
“We are also seeking queries and concerns about our programming so as to win new viewers as well as build loyalty and retain the already available ones,” said Mr. Musee, who revealed that the feedback they got is that TV47 brings back a movie program.
