Money Heist-esque Kericho ruracio gets tongues wagging

A ruracio ceremony that went down in Kericho County is the talk of town.

In line with the Spanish heist crime drama television series created by Álex Pina, the unique ceremony was mimicked the Money Heist theme.

The bride-to-be, and presumably, her cousins were all wrapped from head to toe using shawls, their heads covered with masks resembling actors in the popular Emmy Award-winning film-Money Heist.

In African traditions especially here in Kenya, if a bride picks the wrong girl in the midst of the group of girls, he will be forced to pay fine (in form of cash or goat).

He will be repeatedly fined if he continuously picks the wrong girl until he gets it right.

The ceremony’s whole set up was creativity on another level.
