Privates schools now want the government to release 7 Billion shillings, a loan promised by the Ministry of Education to bail them from effects of COVID-19.
Led by Eldoret West private schools chairman Boniface Simani, they said as schools reopen they are anticipating the government to fulfill the promise that was made by Education CS George Magoha on 10th August this year to help struggling schools.
Simani said many private schools will not be able to offer services normally due to financial constraints.
