World record holder Eliud Kipchoge opens up about a bizarre occurrence that befell him during the world marathon in London earlier on.
“After 25 kilometers my ear blocked and it couldn’t open anymore. But this is how sports is, we should accept defeat and focus for the winning next time. Thanks for the support” said Kipchoge
Kipchoge further confessed the problem commenced just when he was in the race, alluding that he had no problem before the race began despite the cold weather.
Speaking on an interview Eliud said he does not blame it on the cold weather but on the hearing condition that came as an ambush to him while in the race, further assuring the world the race is still on he will be back
This comes after Ethiopia’s Shura Kitata taking the lead on the Elite Men’s race in the London world Marathon followed by Vincent Kipchumba taking the second position and finalized by Sisay Lemma taking the third position.
