Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Lilian Arika in Nakuru law courts and he has pleaded not guilty to the charges of hate speech and offensive conduct.
Apparently the prosecution dropped three charges that had been preferred against him earlier on and those charges included; assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and illegal ownership of a firearm that was found in his vehicle.
The high court on Friday last week released Sudi on a Sh500,000 cash bail or bond of Sh1 million. Sudi is not allowed to address any public gathering until his case is heard again on the 6th of October 2020.
