Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina is now calling for the legalisation of marijuana (bhang) for medicinal purposes.
Talking from a marijuana plantation in Lithuania, Ole Kina says that the plant, which is illegal in Kenya, has been proven the world over to be used in treating health conditions.
According to the young senator, there is no reason why Kenya should start the process of legalising it for medicinal use such as reducing the pain of cancer patients.
“We really need to come and settle this issue out. If this weed is good for us let us legalise it, if it is not good then let’s not allow other people in the world to plant it,” said Ole Kina.
Ole Kina later added: “Life! I swear all of us are naturally high! Some with Nyasore others busaaa! instead of giving directions or consulting they decide to give a striker the ball while facing the goal post! Sawa twende Kazi!”
