Kenya has recorded 83 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country to 35,103.
Cumulative tests now stand at 474,477 after testing 3,707 today. From the cases, 77 are Kenyans while 6 are foreigners. In terms of gender, 58 are males and 25 females. The youngest is a one-year-old child while the oldest is 85.
Nairobi county continues to lead with 27 cases recorded as Busia records 15, Kisumu 12, Nakuru 7, Machakos 7, Kiambu 5, Laikipia, and Kisii 3, Kirinyaga, Mombasa, Nyandarua, and Uasin Gishu have recorded 1 case each.
72 patients have recovered from the disease, 39 are from the Home Based Care Program and 33 have been discharged from various hospitals in the country. Total recoveries now stand at 21,230.
We have lost 3 patients to the disease bringing the total number of deaths to 597.
