DCI detectives on Thursday, September 3 arrested five individuals who were impersonating Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) and National Intelligence Service (NIS) officers in Nairobi.
The five who have been terrorising residents within Nairobi CBD were driving two vehicles when they were intercepted at T-Mall area.
“The five who were driving two motor vehicles Reg. Numbers KBN 433C and KCX 732L were intercepted at T-Mall area where upon searching the said vehicles a pair of hand cuffs, Fake NIS Cards, KDF Cards and gate passes, pocket phones among other items were recovered,” tweeted the DCI.
They include; Sharoq Afzal Shah, Jamal Hassan Ali, Fred Ngusare, Francis Saitabau and Junaid Mehmood Osman.
The DCI is further directing members of the public who may have fallen victim to the activities of such individuals to visit their offices in Lang’ata.
