The Tuskys Supermarket chain management now says that normal business operations have resumed in its United Mall Branch, Kisumu.
On Thursday, August 20, auctioneers shut down Tuskys supermarket in United Mall over Sh26 million rent arrears.
“We wish to assure our stakeholders that we have resolved the misunderstanding with the landlord in question, who has been a long term partner,” read the statement.
The ailing retailer further says that it is in the process of forging a long term strategic partner that will provide the necessary support of our wider stakeholders’ community.
“The branch has been restocked and re-launch will happen as planned on Saturday, August 22,” Tuskys CEO Dan Githua says.
Our dear United customers, you are so dear to us. We won't let you go. Join us for the Tuskys United #Rebirth this Saturday 22nd August. ^MC pic.twitter.com/WL2bzPmTG6
