99 patients have been discharged from various hospitals, as total recoveries climb to 2,832.
3 people have been reported dead due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the number of fatalities has risen to 184.
While visiting Kwale county to assess county readiness in the fight against COVID-19, Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi said that the decision of de-escalating is made with a degree of qualifications that the responsibility to comply with containment measures must now rest with the individual.
She also added that the National Government is focusing to upgrade the readiness of all health care facilities by working closely with county governments to impliment the mitigation measures.
Kwale County Governor said that they will meet with the inter-faith council led by Archbishop Anthony Muheria to ensure that the reopening protocol of worship places is adhered to.
