Jubilee Insurance Limited has apologized to its customers who will no longer receive services at the Nairobi Hospital, following the latter’s decision to suspend the insurer’s account.
The Nairobi Hospital on Thursday last week locked out clients insured by the medical insurer over a payment dispute, with Jubilee Insurance now refuting that it is owing the hospital Sh357 million that has been outstanding for three years.
According to a statement from Jubilee, the amount in question is only Sh80 million, and Nairobi Hospital has failed to provide justification for some bills amounting to the money.
“We have been keen to resolve this impasse with the hospital who unfortunately have not been forthcoming with the information required to reach an amicable closure,” said Jubilee Insurance in the statement.
The medical insurer has reiterated its commitment to solving the impasse amicably, so as to continue providing its customers with a seamless experience of health services at the Nairobi Hospital.
