Deputy President William Ruto attended Tuesday’s (June 2) Jubilee Coalition PG Meeting at State House.
According to a statement from State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena, the DP who is also the Jubilee Deputy Party Leader, Secretary-General Raphael Tuju and 212 MPs attended the meeting convened by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In the meeting, Justin Muturi and Aden Duale were retained as National Assembly Speaker and Majority Leader respectively.
Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi was also retained as the Deputy Majority Leader.
However, Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali was kicked out and his place taken over by Navakholo MP Emmanuel Wangwe.
Deputy Majority Whip Cecily Mbarire was also removed and her place taken over by Igembe North MP Maoka Maore.
President Uhuru also appointed Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya to serve as the secretary of the Jubilee Coalition Joint Parliamentary Group.
