Kenya has recorded 15 new COVID-19 cases out of the 978 tested samples in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 715.
The cases are distributed as follows; Mombasa has 7 cases, Migori has 3 cases, Wajir has 2 cases, while Machakos, Nairobi and Kiambu has a case each.
The Ministry of Health also says that eight more patients have been discharged from hospital over the same time, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 259.
Three more patient died in Mombasa, raising the death toll in the country to 36
Of the 15 positive today, 14 are Kenyans while one is a Rwandese. Their ages range from 1 year and 8 months to 62 years.
