Eye on Ericksen, Dybala as EPL transfer deadline nears

The English Premier League transfer window is about to close on Thursday and clubs have less than 48 hours to finish their transfer business.

The clubs are on the move to bring in new players to strengthen their teams before the kick-off of the new season on Friday.

Manchester United are said to be in the run to bring in Christian Ericksen from Tottenham Hotspurs. The club also fears that they can lose Paul Pogba who has been expected to join Real Madrid or Juventus.

United may also lose Romelu Lukaku who is training with Anderlecht, Inter Milan are interested in his signature.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs are interested in signing Phillipe Coutinho from Barcelona. There is a high chance of him joining either of the clubs as both clubs have held talks with Barcelona.

Spurs who are in fear of losing Ericksen are said to have reached an agreement with Juventus and are expected to sign Paulo Dybala.

Manchester City who failed to beat Manchester United for the signature of Harry Maguire is expected to bring in Joao Cancelo from Juventus in a deal that will also see Danilo join Juventus as part of the deal.

Danilo is said to have travelled to Turin for his medical before joining Juventus.

Wilfred Zaha who missed a chance to join Arsenal after the Gunners landed Nicolas Pepe from Lille might join Everton.

Everton’s first bid was rejected by Crystal Palace, Everton are expected to come up with an improved bid before the transfer market hits its deadline.
