Dennis Oliech named in Gor Mahia CAF squad

Former Harambee Stars striker Dennis Oliech has been included in the Gor Mahia’s CAF( Confederation of African) Football  Champions League.

Oliech made a come back after being on the bench for two months following a hand injury he sustained while playing in their Kenyan Premier League match against  Western Stima.

The skipper’s inclusion in the Gor Mahia squad comes as a relief owing to the fact that he is more experienced and skilled in scoring.

He has scored five crucial goals since he joined K’Ogalo at the beginning of 2019.

He will be among the main strikers which consist of new players Dickson Ambundo, Gislain Yikpe Gnamien, and Francis Afriyie. The football legend resumed training last week after fracturing his hand last season.

Gor Mahia will be playing against Burundi champions next weekend on August 11.

Goalkeepers: Fredrick Odhiambo, David Mapigano, Boniface Oluoch

Defenders: Wellington Ochieng, Philemon Otieno, Shafik Batambuze, Geoffrey Ochieng, Joachim Oluoch, Joash Onyango, Charles Momanyi, Maurice Ojwang.

Midfielders: Ernest Wendo, Tobias Otieno, Kenneth Muguna, Curtis Wekesa, Boniface Omondi, Lawrence Juma, Samuel Onyango.

Strikers: Dennis Oliech, Nicholas Kipkirui, Dickson Ambundo, Gislain Yikpe Gnamien, Francis Afriyie.
