Former Bomet Governor Dr Joyce Laboso’s husband Edwin Abonyo wants the person who will succeed her wife not to discriminate people based on where they come from.
“I hope that whoever comes in next will be able to try and put people together, stop controversies, please see each person as a human being, don’t look at the person and categorize him. Let’s try and get out of that because I know she really stood for that,” Abonyo said during the wife’s memorial service.
Abonyo said that Laboso’s life manifested this through her selection of friends and selection of her spouse.
“Joyce had no boundaries, so even her choosing me should not have surprised anybody. Joyce did not look at you based on where you come from. She just believed in a good person,”Abonyo reminisced.
