Have you heard of the quote that there’s money everywhere, you just need to find it? With advancements in technology and specialization in talents, people as young as 20 are already making millions and billions.
The truth is not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouths. We all don’t get huge inheritances from our parents. Sometimes you have to make your own money by working hard.
Here are some tips to make you a millionaire by the age of 30.
Start early. Start making money as early as your teenage years. If you are in high school or university, look for a business idea and execute it. Identify your talent early too and make money from it. World-class footballers and musicians started early.
Increase the number of avenues you earn from. If you can juggle three jobs or start a side business while employed do it. It might require a lot of sacrifice and time but it’s all worth it in the end.
Business Insider advises you to save to invest, not save just for the sake of saving. Remember to do a lot of research in the venture you want to invest in. Investing allows you to significantly grow your money over time and make massive profits.
Be frugal. Billionaires like Mike Zuckerberg and the late Steve Jobs dress very simply. You really do not need shoes and bags worth Sh750,000. Redirect your money to more important things like investing.
Invest in yourself. Go to school, enrol in a university to learn a specific course and learn various skills. You can also tap into your creative side and generally take care of your body, mind, and soul.
Spend time with millionaires. Surround yourself with people who share the same goals, passion, and vision with you. Remember, if you walk with four millionaires, you will most certainly be the fifth.
Stop making excuses and start working on your dreams. There’s really no shortcut to success. Working hard and being smart is the only way you can create wealth.
