Meru County Speaker’s bodyguard Samuel Munga was shot dead on Sunday morning at Kamiti Corner area, Nairobi. It is believed that he was shot by the speaker’s driver, Andrew Nabea due to an argument.
The driver was reportedly injured and admitted in the hospital. The bodyguard was shot in the chest and died on arrival at the Ruaraka Neema Hospital.
Police reported Andrew’s gun had three bullets, and he fired 20 bullets from his pistol whose spent cartridges were recovered. They also recovered the driver’s civilian firearm certificate and four Ceska magazines.
According to Citizen it was said that a total of 17 spent cartridges were recovered at the scene.
