An Illegal Liquor Manufacturing Plant disguised as a godown at Baraka-Dandora was Friday night raided by @DCI_Kenya .
Flying Squad detectives recovered over 177 cartons packed with illicit spirit brands and several 250l drums of suspected ethanol recovered.
Four suspects were also arrested, the DCI said Saturday on its Twitter handle.
Samples were taken for further analysis and crime scene sealed off. Suspects are in custody waiting to be charged.
“On being tipped, Flying Squad detectives involved KRA and KEBS officers in the midnight raid where Samuel Kihara, Peter Mwangi, Margaret Waithera and Moses Itunga were arrested,” the DCI said.
Also recovered were: Loaded private van, with fake KRA and KEBS stickers, some chemicals packaging bottles and seals.
