Fatoumata Kourouma, a student and wife from Guinea was rushed to the hospital to give birth on Tuesday morning. She went back to do her exam 30 minutes after conceiving.
Mrs Kourouma explained that she began developing sharp pains on Monday and had no idea she will be giving birth the following day. During her arrival in the hospital is when she realized it’s the due date.
Immediately she gave birth, the baby was given to her parents so that she would be able to resume to school and complete her Physics and French exams.
The mother of the newborn was luckily allowed in by the invigilators. She told The BBC that her son is healthy and is looking forward to finishing her studies.
It was reported by UN children’s agency (UNICEF) that Guinea has one in three women who give birth by the age of 18.
