Everton players visit children’s home in Nairobi

Everton stars visited a ‘Green City in the Sun’ children’s home in Nairobi to have a feeling of what the children go through in that place.

They played with the children and felt the hustle and bustle the children and the local residents go through in their daily life.

The tour was also meant to reunite them with their local fans in the informal settlement.

Pienaar and Osman arrived in the country on Wednesday, three days earlier so that they can tour several places before they play Kariobangi Sharks.

Other Everton players and the technical team landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi on Saturday morning 8 am local time aboard a chartered flight from Liverpool ready to face Kariobangi Sharks in a historical game in Kasarani.

Kariobangi Sharks, the 2019 Super Cup champions, earned the opportunity to play Everton by winning the regional invitational tournament in Tanzania on January 27, 2019.

The game will be played on Sunday 7 July 2019 at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani Stadium at 4 pm.
