The Rongo Member of Parliament, Paul Abuor has confirmed that he is safe after getting involved in a grisly road accident on Sunday evening.
The MP told a local news site that himself, his driver, and a bodyguard have undergone a medical checkup and are now out of danger.
“Nobody was injured in the crash, I, therefore, want to tell all Rongo residents as well as friends and family that I am fine and there is no cause for alarm,” the Rongo legislator said.
Abuor’s car yesterday lost control and rolled several times at Segona area on the Kiambu-Nairobi highway.
The legislator was returning to Nairobi from his constituency Rongo when the accident happened.
