A section of Kenyans on the Internet have supported the Chinese traders in various markets who have been accused of taking away jobs.

They are calling for fare business practices saying the Chinese should not be discriminated against.

Tens of Chinese traders have opened shops in the crowded, informal markets that have for decades served as the entry points for second-hand clothes and cheap Chinese imports.

While a majority of Kenyans complained about the influx of Chinese traders that have populated the Gikomba market in Nairobi taking away jobs for locals, others are standing by the side of the Chinese.

The supporters cite a fair business environment for all parties including the Chinese.

Some government sources have also revealed that the Chinese have a right in the trade since that is part of the mega-agreement signed between the two countries.
